In Mammals: The vagina is the copulatory portion of the female’s reproductive tract. The vestibule portion of the vagina also serves for passage of urine during urination. The vagina also serves as a canal through which young pass when born.

In Birds: The vagina is the portion of the avian reproductive tract where the bloom/cuticle is added to the egg just prior to the egg being laid.

Bloat

In ruminants: An abnormal condition in ruminants characterized by a distention of the rumen, usually seen on an animal’s upper left side, owing to an accumulation of gases.

In dogs: A twisting of the stomach that can be fatal to a dog. Bloat occurs more frequently in large, deep-chested dogs. The chance of bloat also increases if a dog eats a large meal just before exercising.

Parasites: Internal Parasites of Horses

Internal parasites are small organisms that live a portion of their life cycle in a host animal — in this case, the horse.

They live in internal organs, body cavities, and tissues while gaining their nutritive source by feeding on the host animal.

Above is a picture of Bots in a horses stomach.
