Lucinda B. Miller

Lucinda B. Miller, Ph.D, is an Assistant Professor with Ohio State University Extension. As an Extension Specialist, 4-H Youth Development, Miller is responsible for providing leadership to Ohio 4-H small animal and companion animal science programs, focusing on life skills, best practices, and career development. Miller also provides leadership to 4-H PetPALS, a volunteer leader-directed animal-assisted activities program linking youth and their pets with senior adults.

Amy Fischer

Dr. Amy Fischer is a Teaching Associate and Extension Specialist with the University of Illinois Department of Animal Sciences, where she coordinates the Companion Animal Biology and Humane Education program.  This program emphasizes the science of companion animals as well as their roles in society, and encourages students to apply knowledge through a variety of internships, service-based learning projects, and other opportunities based on community partnerships.

Lisa Karr-Lilienthal

Dr. Lisa Karr-Lilienthal is an assistant professor in Companion Animal Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She received a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from Illinois State University and then received her master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign in Companion Animal Nutrition. Her research has focused on nutrition of dogs, cats, and other non-ruminant animals.
