Dr. Ajifolokun provides teaching and leadership in science and small animal health programs in Cook County. He is a member of Cook County Extension- STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) team. He teaches various topics in biology and animal science as well as offering professional development programs to both elementary and middle school science teachers.
Dr. Ajifolokun earned his doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. He also holds a certificate in veterinary forensic science. Dr. Ajifolokun has extensive direct teaching, clinical and animal care experience. He has worked at various sectors in animal health industry including animal production, technical sales and public health.
Prior to joining University of Illinois Extension, Dr. Ajifolokun was an adjunct professor of biology for City Colleges of Chicago. He also taught at other community colleges including Prairie State College, Chicago Heights and South Suburban College in South Holland.
Dr. Ajifolokun is a member of National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) and American Management Association (AMA).
